As CEO of AFM, Alex’s goal is to shake the dust off the 60+ year old company and the industry at large. An attorney by trade, Alex served as an Associate Attorney in Chicago prior to joining AFM, where he specialized in Commercial Collection Litigation. Alex sits on the board and is the Vice President of the Commercial Collection Agencies of America, and is a member of Vistage International and the Executives Club of Chicago. Alex's leadership approach is based on a deep belief in the power of relationships and a strong desire to make a positive, meaningful impact.
Bryan Yost
Vice President of Client Services
As Vice President of Client Services, Bryan is committed to achieving operational excellence by overseeing key departments and functions including sales, client onboarding, client result calls, client services, and litigation. He believes that standardized processes followed consistently across teams foster accountability and drive optimal outcomes for clients. Bryan ensures that each client receives a customized, tailored approach designed to meet their specific needs and deliver the best possible results. Prior to joining AFM, Bryan served in the U.S. Navy as a Boatswain’s Mate First Class, where he led his division and supervised over 300 personnel throughout his career. His leadership style centers on creating a supportive and empowering environment where individuals can grow and succeed.
Jakub Zurek
Director of IT
As Director of Information Technology at AFM, Jakub is focused on modernizing the company’s technology landscape and elevating security and compliance to support growth. He oversees infrastructure, enterprise applications, data platforms, and cybersecurity—partnering with operations to streamline workflows, reduce risk, and improve speed and reliability. Jakub believes standardized processes and thoughtful automation create accountability and free teams to focus on high-value work. With 20+ years in information systems—including over a decade in the ARM/collections industry—he has led the architecture, implementation, and performance of mission-critical systems across cloud, telephony, payments, and analytics. Prior to joining AFM, Jakub served as a System Architect and Project Manager. His leadership style centers on clarity, measurable outcomes, and building tools that make complex work simple.
